Day 18: Majora from Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask
- Operation Moonfall Pieces. -
A long while ago I made these pieces to support a Petition to have The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask remade for the 3DS as Ocarina of Time was. I was inspired by said petition that I decided to help back it up by making a total of 13 different pieces to illustrate the heart-wrenching tales that would ensue if you, as link, are unable to succeed in your quest.
The Strongest Piece in my opinion is the Deku Butler above. It’s simple enough to make a point and it hits home. For those who Don’t know. The Deku Butler’s son is gone missing when you speak to him in the game, though early on you see a disfigured shrub of a Deku that is supposedly either dead or cursed like that. At the end of the game during the credits, you see the Deku Butler in front of that shrub, mourning it. It is assumed that you as Deku Link are using the spirit of his son to be the Deku shrub.
In each piece I made I wanted to illustrate how if you don’t play the game anew, you will be letting them all suffer.

Convinced my roommates friend who’s staying with us for the night because she’s touring Umass tomorrow to play a speed run through of Majora’s Mask and I love it it’s my favorite game heheheheheehheheh yes
